RoboCup is the premiere annual international competition for autonomous robotics, featuring teams competing from over 40 countries across a wide variety of challenges. I have been involved in RoboCup for over a decade. My current roles include participating at RMIT and roles within the RoboCup organisation.
I served as member of the Technical Committee (TC) for the RoboCup Soccer Standard Platform League from 2017 - 2022. The TC is responsible for managing the rules and qualification process for the league.
I am currently the academic supervisor and team lead for RedBackBots, the RMIT RoboCup Soccer SPL Team. RedBackBots was formed in 2020, and has competed at RoboCup since 2023.
2022

Results: (Competed Remotely) 8th Technical Challenges. Best result was 3rd Visual Referee Challenge
2021

Results: Withdrew due to Melbourne COVID-19 lock-down.
2020

Team Members: Joesph Williams, Milindi Kodihara, Sam Komesarook, Talal Meshari.
Results: RoboCup 2020 cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
