RoboCup is the premiere annual international competition for autonomous robotics, featuring teams competing from over 45 countries across a wide variety of challenges. I have been involved in RoboCup for over 15 years. My current roles include leading multiple RoboCup teams at RMIT (in the Soccer and Flying leagues), and roles within the RoboCup organisation.
I am currently a member of the Executive Committee for the RoboCup Soccer Standard Platform League. My current term is from 2024-2028.
I was as member of the Technical Committee (TC) for the RoboCup Soccer Standard Platform League from 2017 - 2022.
I am currently the academic supervisor and team lead for the RedBackBots Soccer team, that participates in the RoboCup Soccer SPL (Standard Platform League). More information about our team, including how to join, is available on our homepage. RedBackBots was formed in 2020, and has competed at RoboCup since 2022. Our results are:

I am the academic supervisor and team lead for the RedBackBots Flying team, that participated in the RoboCup Flying Demo League. Our team is a joint team between the School of Computing Technologies and the Discipline of Aerospace Engineering at RMIT. Our demo league team was formed in 2025 for the first iteration of the flying league demo at the international RoboCup Competition. Our results are:
